It made me think….so I thought I would see what others thought…

Yes, it sure made me think also. That’s what I love about your blog.
I think it’s time I cut myself free from a branch that appears to support me, but in reality I’m stuck hanging. The fall will provoke a change. Thanks for helping me see this so clearly.
Do you have an explanation for the lack of comments on this one?

Not really…sometimes people are in the commenting mood, other days they are too busy!

Have 14 head; all day full time job feeding, grooming, watering, mucking stalls; ALWAYS have “time” to listen to what an “expert has to say; we are never too “old” to watch/listen to what “horse people have to say! Try to keep an open mind to all trainer/people, you might learn something new. PS> only apply as much as it takes while training;each horse responds differently to training techniques; each horse is different, just like People; I like to gain the horses/foal confidence BEFORE ever trying to “train leading, etc. (each horse learns at their own speed..,, you can’t rush. This is one thing that I find very irritating when training/ working with a clients horse.; you can NOT train a horse in 30 days, that is a joke; any trainer who states they can finish/train your horse in 30 days is just full of “it”..and only wants your “money…

I thought it meant hanging by a rope around the throat. Would be a good idea to cut that branch then!
